Adventure
Lantern Hollow
★★★★☆ 4.4
Lantern Hollow is a cozy adventure about wandering a misty village and slowly piecing together why its lanterns keep going out. You tap to move, tap to examine, and solve light environmental puzzles. There's no fail state, which makes it a lovely wind-down game.
The art is soft and watercolor-ish, and the ambient sound does a lot of work setting the mood. Puzzles lean toward observation rather than logic gymnastics — notice a detail here, use it there. We never got stuck for long, and that felt intentional.
It's short, maybe three hours, but it doesn't overstay its welcome. A perfect evening game.
